The Children's Ball

For sixty-one years, the Children’s Research Fund has presented the Children’s Ball, an annual celebration of fundraising to provide essential funding for medical research, focused for the last 29 years supporting the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and prior to that at Michael Reese Hospital.

While the COVID-19 pandemic has forced change in the way we operate as individuals and as an organization, our vision that research is an essential investment that strengthens our community remains unchanged. In the interest of prioritizing our donors’ safety, we will not be seeing you in person at the Hilton Chicago on December 12, 2020.

Instead, we hope you will join us for the 2020 Children’s Research Fund Campaign as we introduce some of our top researchers, our resilient patients, and share impactful stories of how, with supporters like you, the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute continues to work toward providing a cure, for every child.

Keeping the importance of research, the impact of the community, and the mission of providing for children at the forefront, we can’t wait to face the future with you by our side. In a world ridden with uncertainty, we strive to provide hope for the children of Chicago and beyond and we need your help, now more than ever.
